As a Cop

Your job is to hunt down the Fugitives and bring them to justice. It's a dark night out, and they are good at hiding, so you'll have to get them in your flashlight to see them. Luckily you've got your trusty cop car. You can quickly patrol the streets, picking up your fellow cops and dropping them off strategically around the city.
As a Fugitive

You're on the run, but Johnny law is in hot pursuit. You'll have a few seconds head start, so stay out of sight. You have to reach the safe zone to escape. But if the Cops see you, you're as good as dead.

What you need to know

There isn't much to Fugitive. This is nearly all of it.

The cop car

Cops have a car they can drive around, and several can ride at once. Lock it when you get out, or the fugitives will steal it.
Street lights

Fugitives, watch out. Street lights give you away to any cop nearby, even one who isn't looking at you.
Motion sensors

Some houses have motion sensitive lights. Cutting across the driveway sets them off.
Score

Reaching the safe zone scores the most. Capturing a fugitive counts too, just for less.
Sprinting

A short burst of speed. Stamina only refills when you stop completely, though cops get it all back by climbing into the car.
Head start

Fugitives get a few seconds before the cops move. Sprint for distance, or hide close by and let them drive past.

Built for LAN parties

Fugitive was designed for a room full of people on the same network. The in-game server browser finds every game on your LAN automatically, so nobody has to type an IP address.

It works fine over the internet too, using direct connect.
